Franco Angelini retired after 25 years of working in the military, federal, and municipal law enforcement in September 2005. His career as a K9 handler and trainer began in the U.S. Army as a sergeant and military police K9 officer in 1984.

Jerry Bradshaw is Training Director & President of Tarheel Canine Training, Inc. in Sanford, North Carolina. Jerry is the co-founder, executive director and director of judging for the Protection Sports Association as well as a founding director of the National Tactical Police Dog Association known as NTPDA.

Lieutenant Jay Brock is the current unit commander of the Farmersville Police Department K9 Unit. Jay has managed and supervised K9 units for over 15 years. Jay has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Criminology and has 28 years of law enforcement experience.

Scott Clark, owner and founder of High Drive K-9, has been a police officer for the city of Coral Springs Police Department (FL) since January 1999. In 2001, Scott was assigned to the K9 unit where he currently serves as an active K9 handler.

Dr. Jill Cline is the site director for Royal Canin Pet Health and Nutrition Center and has 20 years of experience in the pet food industry. Dr. Cline has worked in several areas within the pet industry including manufacturing and product development, non-invasive R&D, and technical communications for veterinarians, breeders and working/sporting dog enthusiasts.
Top Dog Police K-9 Training and Consulting
Ron Cloward, owner of Top Dog Police K-9 Training and Consulting, is a retired police lieutenant in California. Ron was a handler of three different police canines during his 26-year career. Ron and his final partner, Pele, were named the Top Dog and Top Competitor in 1997.
Signature Science, LLC
Ms. Laura DeBuck is an Explosives Chemist at Signature Science, LLC, where she instructs the chemistry or energetic material and focuses on the production of homemade explosives. Ms. DeBuck has expertise in the preparation and properties of various explosives and identification of explosives with field detection equipment, small-scale sensitivity testing, and larger scale detonations.
Eden Consulting Group
Bob Eden is a 28-year retired police veteran with over 35 years of dog training experience in law enforcement, military and personal protection applications. In his final years of law enforcement, he was a detective with the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit investigating organized crime.
Ricky Farley has owned and operated the Alabama Canine Law Enforcement Officer’s Training Center since 1992. He has had the privilege of training police service canines for over 28 foreign countries as well as over 1500 police departments inside the United States.

Dr. David “Lou” Ferland is the current Executive Director of the United States Police Canine Association. He is also a retired police chief after serving 30 years as a police officer with 15 of them as a K9 handler.

Alexis Newman, DVM

Dr. Alexis Newman received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University in 1998. Following veterinary school, she completed a Surgical and Emergency Internship at California Animal Hospital in West Los Angeles.
Jim O’Brien has been handling and training police K9’s for over 13 years and was a police officer in New Hampshire for 15 years. Jim has trained all facets of law enforcement K9 training and has an affinity for tracking.
John M. Peters

John M. Peters is an attorney who has been practicing police liability law in the state and federal courts for more than thirty years. When not in court, John participates in decoy work, tracking, aggression and obedience for sport and at the many police canine workshops he attends.

Brad Smith retired from the West Covina Police Department in southern California after 30 years of service. Brad was a handler and trainer there for 25 years and a SWAT dog handler for 18 years.

Cody Tallent currently serves as a master trainer for multi-purpose canine (MPC) training programs. Tallent’s dedication and knowledge have made him one of the premier canine instructors in both law enforcement and military communities throughout the country.
