WAGONER COUNTY, Okla. (KTUL) – Wagoner County Sheriff Chris Elliot says Edo, a Deputy K9, helped find a murder weapon five days after a man was stabbed to death near Broken Arrow.

“This is a pretty unique and amazing, in my opinion, performance for our K9 unit,” said Elliot. “Had it not been for them, we would not have located that knife.”

Elliot added: “And it was such a big area, I thought, there’s no way after five days and four nights that this knife has been laying out in the field, that this dog is ever going to be able to smell it. I was wrong.”
