Shift Tip: Is a Calorie a Calorie?

Eat less and exercise more is bullshit. It hasn’t worked for the past 50 years (since the obesity epidemic began). Instead of focusing so much on the weight you have gained, let’s start focusing on the “how” you gained the weight. Being on a severe caloric deficit to lose weight will fail 98% of the time (regarding long term sustainability). Our bodies need to be fueled. We need to start looking into WHAT makes us fat and go from there.
DISCLAIMER: This tip is not for the fitness buffs, gym rats, bodybuilders, powerlifters, etc. This is for the common majority of people who do not want to or who won’t track their calories.
